Our Projects

The Louise P. Whittemore Scholarship Foundation is committed to transforming lives through education, access, and empowerment. Our initiatives are designed to meet students where they are, from providing technology and transportation, to offering scholarships, literacy support, and athletic gear. We uplift girls through mentorship, ensure youth have access to essential hygiene products, and support teen innovators and entrepreneurs with tools to bring their ideas to life. We also help students pursue global opportunities by supporting those with scholarships to study abroad. Every program is rooted in our mission to break barriers, create opportunities, and build a future where every child has the chance to thrive.

Tuition Support

Provides tuition assistance for students who cannot afford school fees.

At-Risk Girls & Boys Support Scholarship (Youth Protection)

Supports youth facing difficult circumstances, including pregnancy, violence, unsafe home conditions, or extreme hardship

School Meals & Recess Support

Helps children who struggle with hunger access daily meals and healthy school-day nutrition.

Youth Innovation & Entreprenuership

Empowers students to develop small business ideas, leadership skills, and community-driven projects.

School Supplies & Materials Scholarship

We collect and distribute essential school items to students in need.

Adopt-A-Student Sponsorship Program

Connects donors with a specific student to provide long-term educational support.

Transportation Support Scholarship

Helps students who struggle to afford transportation to and from school.

Girls / Boys Rising Initiative

A mentorship program that builds confidence, leadership, and positive role modeling.

Literacy & Academic Support Scholarship

We support students with age-appropriate reading, writing, and comprehension skills.

Community Engagement/After School Enrichment Scholarship

This initiative donates supplies, supports community activities, and strengthens youth development.
